Project title: The BT Desert Island Campaign

Where would we be without the internet? In a new series of advertising shorts, BT track the progress of two older couples, one with internet access, and one without. The twist? They are both located on a desert island, with no other access to main society. This campaign will highlight the many aspects of the internet that mean physical isolation does not have to mean social isolation. Our internet friendly couple will show how fast internet access can link you up to the rest of the world, through means such as social networking sites, online shopping, banking, news updates, even the odd game of computer solitaire. As for the technophobic couple, well, it's only a matter of time before their internet fearing ways are cast off for good. Through this advertising campaign, BT will take measures to target audiences of an especially unconfident technological background, and exemplify the benefits of internet access through a series of friendly, relatable and humorous episodes.
