Project title: BT Infinity Episode 1

Creative genius: Jake and Two Daniels, 15

We decided upon a sitcom style adverts with different family and teenage favourite characters featuring in each advert to use the characters' catch phrases and experiences to sell BT. We felt this would hit a wide demographic. Each advert would be an 'episode' placing BT at the centre of the sitcom. We have used the family favourite advert Only Fools and Horses for this advert with Rodney and Del Boy trying to sell BT to Alan Sugar. Another advert to target teenagers would be the 'friends' episode of the Inbetweeners with 'BT Friends' at the centre of the advert. Another advert would be to target an older demographic with Victor Meldrew and his 'i don't believe it' storyline and catchphrase to sell Fast Internet. From our research we found that comedy and celebrity endorsements were the most popular and effective advertising techniques so wanted to incorporate this into our advert. We would also have competitions and facebook and Twitter pages for each sitcom advert and voting for the favourite advert and sitcom with a prize where audiences could 'star' in the next advert.
