Project title: EON

Creative genius: Aniinhas, 18

After arranging ourselves into a group, we decided on a group name. The name we chose was Saviours, based on the brief that was to ‘save’ energy, after deciding on a name we developed a logo for our team to go along with the rest of our work. Our target audience was 16-25 year olds. We then began to brainstorm ideas on how to motivate our target audience to save energy – we came up with the idea of: Saving energy → gaining points → transferring those points into meter cash or mobile phone credit But in order for this idea to work we had to advertise our work, in order to decide on which method to advertise we done a questionnaire which questioned people on their choices and opinion on the projects objective. The results came back showing 50% of the people liked the idea of a poster but the same amount also like the idea of a 50% video. I ended up producing both, the poster advertising the campaign, video and the mobile phone application – whereas the video would be supporting the campaign and also showing people the steps of how to subscribe. People that already had eon as a provider would receive letter that would invite them to join the campaign which was optional, the second letter would be sent to whoever wanted to take part and would have a points transfer table with the instructions and their new QR code.
